Project Manager

This individual would be responsible for the creative development and execution of custom Interior Design projects and Furniture Design and Procurement Packages.

The Project Manager would collaborate with developers, architects, contractors, clients, and colleagues to create and manage all detailed documentation and specification information throughout the selection process.

In addition to creative talent, this job requires exceptional client and project management skills and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working directly with design clients and managing projects.

Qualifications

7-10 years of professional Interior Design experience and management
B.A. in Interior Design from an accredited program. Professional licensing is preferred
Own responsibility for project profitability, schedule, and budget
Highly creative skills with a strong sense of design, color, and materials
Personable & communicative towards clients & all trade consultants
Well-versed in Senior Living and design guidelines
Confidentially, present design ideas & details professionally
Full knowledge of documentation in all phases of design (CD, SD, DD, CD, CA)
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, IVY, InDesign, and Photoshop
Familiarity with multiple finish sources & furnishing/vendors
Ability to install design projects. This includes lifting, climbing, hanging, and agility to proficiently do tasks requested on job installations
Skillful self-time management with the capability to multi-task and problem solve concurrently
Ability to delegate tasks, mentor, and direct numerous team members
Positive attitude, strong work ethic & attention to detail

 Duties and Responsibilities 

Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines
Execute and successfully exceed client expectations
Adaptive to all client time zones, meetings, and deadlines
travel for client presentations, site walks, team meetings, field verifications, and or marketing
Collaborate with developers, architects, and clients, on all aspects of interiors to create a comprehensive design package for the client
Generate preliminary costing for project interior finishes and allowances
Develop, maintain and circulate accurate and up-to-date finish selection schedules
Maintain work established within cost parameters and allowances for interior finishes
Manage the client interaction and expectations
Oversee the projection of workload and flow
Oversee the consultant coordination to ensure consistency with the design
Provide problem-solving for both the technical and design facets of the project
Generate and manage FF&E Budgets
Prepare and maintain project data and virtual resources, binders, material boards, and digital presentations of both Interior Design finishes and lighting design envelope as well as specifications and FF&E package
Assist with the maintenance and organization of the Design Group's library * Understanding cost parameters and implications for selections being made
Provide full construction review and redlines for the design team. Full knowledge of construction sets and implementation
BIM integration and REVIT knowledge for interior design documentation, coordination, and model sharing with other consultants
Perform other related duties as assigned
Maintain a creative and positive work-life culture
Organize team building and success celebrations for staff
Promote growth, mentor and nurture the design team
